Amy Childs fills out a black and white dress from her own fashion collection for This Morning appearance

 She's known for her love of pink and garish colours, but Amy Childs put on a more sophisticated show for a TV appearance on Friday.

The reality star wore a black and white graphic print outfit with floral detail from her own fashion range to appear on ITV's This Morning.

 Although it was a more elegant look, the Kitty dress was just as tightly fitted as her usual party garb.

The red-headed beautician paired her bodycon dress - from her own fashion collection - with some slingback stilettos, pearl earrings and a chunky silver watch.

 Outside the studios, Amy covered her false-lashes with a large pair of brown sunglasses as she posed for the waiting cameras.

The 22-year old was appearing on the show to take part in a mind-reading challenge with a psychic.

 This Morning put David Meade - the self-proclaimed 'mentalist' - to the test by getting him to read the minds of Amy, actor Matt Laplinskas and presenter Matt Johnson.

David - from Northern Ireland - successfully guessed the street where the National Lottery presenter grew up on.

But it seems Amy's Kitty dress had the female viewers attention, as the item sold out on her website after she wore it on the show.

Amy then headed off to the Vitality show at London's Earl's Court to promote her fashion and beauty lines.

On offer are her selection of false lashes, onesies, vajazzle sets and her new perfume.

Amy Childs shows off her fashion credentials as she steps out in an in style yellow peplum top

She recently launched her own fashion range so one would hope Amy Childs had good style sense.

And if she's hoping to act as a good advert for her own line she's certainly going the right way about it.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star stepped out in Liverpool today showing she's bang on trend by wearing a yellow peplum top.

Amy, 21, cut a stylish figure as she matched the top with a black pencil skirt which gave her an impressive silhouette.

The reality TV star finished her look off with some chunky black heels, large sunglasses and wore her red hair down and volumised. She was joined by her cousin and fellow former TOWIE star Harry Derbridge, who showed off his own unique style in his dapper get-up. The teenager opted for some skinny navy chinos with white plimsolls, a stripy T-shirt and beige tailored jacket. Amy has been travelling around the UK promoting her new tanning range. And during her latest stop off in Liverpool she brought Harry along to keep her company.

Since finding fame on The Only Way Is Essex, Amy Childs hasn't exactly been known as the brain of Britain.

And today the reality TV star played up to her 'dumb Essex girl' image as she launched the new Samsung Smart camera.

The new product was billed as so easy even Amy could use it as she posed with the shiny new camera at the Westfield shopping centre in White City, West London.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, who is an avid tweeter and has over 1million follower on the site, made sure the Samsung launch today would have maximum impact in a tight sequinned bandeau dress and silver Kandee high heels.

However, she admitted she struggled in many of her subjects due to her dyslexia and didn't get end up with good GCSE grades.

On Series 1 and 2 of TOWIE, she was portrayed as a lovable, but intellectually-challenged beautician.

Some of her famous quotes on the show included asking the name of the 'person who wrote the dictionary' and asking if a matador was a type of penguin.
