Britney Spears finally got her big engagement weekend after years of dating Jason Trawick. The newly betrothed couple headed to Vegas for a big party with friends and family on Friday, and spent Saturday and Sunday celebrating the good news.

Britney was originally planning on throwing Jason a 40th birthday party at The Sugar Factory at Planet Hollywood and Chateau Night Club, but the whole thing turned into a joint engagement party instead.

We caught Britney looking a little worse for wear at the end of her big night… holding hands with a dude that was definitely not Jason. It’s not exactly worrisome – my guess is she just needed someone to steady herself after a long night.

Newly-Engaged Britney Spears' Diamond Ring Debut!

Fresh off of her BIG engagement news, Britney Spears made the short trip from Los Angeles, CA to Las Vegas, NV to celebrate with her loved ones on Friday evening (December 16).

The "Hold It Against Me" singer and fiance Jason Trawick touched down in Sin City on a private jet before loading into a chauffeured ride and heading over to Planet Hollywood - where the couple was greeted with an array of balloons lining the hotel club's VIP entrance.

After changing into fancier attire, Miss Spears and her hubby-to-be joined family members for a ring unveiling soiree - at which Britney proudly showed off her 3-plus carat round stone ring surrounded by pave-set diamonds, which was designed by Neil Lane.

With the Vegas trip help to toast the couple upon their engagement, the group also happened to be celebrating Trawick's 40th birthday - as the night also included a stop at Chocolate Lounge in the Paris Hotel along with a visit to Chateau nightclub.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Britney happily announced her engagement to Jason earlier in the day, as she joyously tweeted, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo"

The pop star added a few hours later, "Still glowing! About to jump on a plane to Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Throwing a Bday Party for Jason at Chateau Night Club. So fun. Xxoo"

Tinseltown rumors are a dime a dozen, but a British report is now claiming that Britney Spears is secretly engaged to her boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Despite Spears’ camp repeatedly denying that a wedding is in the works, The Sun has quoted an inside source as saying Brit Brit is a bride-to-be.


The source leaked, "Britney's desperate to settle down again and have more children. But she is very traditional and didn't want to start a family with Jason until they'd tied the knot. She's on cloud nine."

Furthermore, the blessed occasion is said to be planned for later this year, with a small intimate ceremony in Hawaii.

Britney Spears Is Now A Comic Character

Pop superstar Britney Spears has become the latest celebrity to be immortalised in a comic book.

The 29-year-old singer's rise to stardom and highly publicised private life, has been turned into a series of comic books by Bluewater Productions, reported Contactmusic.

"She is far more complicated than most people realise. No matter what preconceptions you have about her, there will always be more layers and surprises.

"Beyond the performer, there is a real human being there, struggling for a real life, struggling to connect with her art, and struggling to be understood," said writer Patrick McCray.

Other stars who have been given the comic book treatment by the firm include Twilight's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as well as Lady Gaga and Linsay Lohan.
