Sonakshi Sinha set to work with Arjun Kapoor

Mumbai, May 29 -- Till date, she has worked with senior actors in many successful films. But now, Sonakshi Sinha is signing back-to-back movies with younger stars. In the latest instance, she has been confirmed as the leading lady opposite Arjun Kapoor in the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Okkadu (2003; meaning, the only one). The Boney Kapoor production will hit the floors in 2014.

"The makers considered other actresses too, but Sonakshi bagged the part because of two reasons, she and Arjun made for a fresh pair and she fits the part perfectly," says an insider.

As for Sonakshi, this remake comes at a time when she is already working on a few films with younger actors, Rambo Rajkumar with Shahid Kapoor, Lootera with Ranveer Singh and Welcome Back with John Abraham.

"It (working with younger actors) hasn't been a conscious move. As a newcomer, I got the opportunity to work with the biggest stars and I grabbed it, just as anyone else would. Back then, I used to say that there will be a time when I will work with others too, and that time has come now," says Sonakshi. "Senior actors have tremendous experience, not only when it comes to work, but also about the ways of the industry. This gave me a great chance to learn. With the younger lot, it's more like being on an equal footing."

Jennifer Hudson: Heading Back to American Idol?

She got her start as one of the top 8 finalists on Season 3 of “American Idol,” and now Jennifer Hudson may return to the floundering talent show as a judge.

According to an inside source, the “You Pulled Me Through” songstress has already received an offer from the FOX show, though nothing has been officially confirmed.

Given the sagging ratings during Season 12, “American Idol” is set for a total overhaul including the judges’ table and the format.

And with Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj all making their exit, Hudson would have a clean slate waiting for her.

Selena Gomez flashes plenty of flesh in a futuristic white and neon gown...

She was set to attended the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, along with her on and off again boyfriend Justin Bieber

So Selena Gomez made sure she was dressed to impress as she hit the red carpet at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada for the main event.

The 20-year-old pop star flashed plenty of flesh in a revealing white futuristic-style gown, which was slashed to the thigh and featured multi-coloured neon trim.

The dress in question displayed Selena's very slim and toned figure and the pink, green and yellow accents around the neck and arms made it fashion forward.

However, as Selena turned around, the gown failed to flatter her figure, with it's ill fit at the back and odd sheer nude panelling.

The Come & Get It star paired the attire with some silver strappy heels and wore no other accessories, bar some stud earrings and a ring on her finger.

She accentuated the pink in the trim further by wearing lashings of pink lipstick on her pout and had heavy black wing tipped eyeliner around her eyes.

She had also straightened her hair, pulling it back into a messy ponytail, but despite it being a sleek style, her tresses at the back appeared matted and frizzy.

Selena was set to be sitting next to Bieber at the Billboard Awards on Sunday night.

Miley Cyrus slips into a jewel encrusted crochet jumpsuit at 2013 Billboard Music Awards

 She recently topped Maxim's Hot 100 list.

But Miley Cyrus opted for more of an edgy look rather than sexy for her red carpet appearance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

The 20-year-old slipped into a crochet jumpsuit as she made her arrival at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Balmain all-in-one featured a black and silver diamante diamond design, but on the outside of the ensemble the cream knitted detailing was reminiscent of a doily.

As she turned around, Miley displayed plenty of flesh in the back with the romper featuring cut-out detailing in the diamond pattern.

Miley's jumpsuit also featured zippers at the ankles and a strategically placed zipper which ran all the way down her back to her derriere.

Miley let her outrageous attire do all of the talking by wearing minimal accessories, including a pair of simple black peep toe heels.

She once again coiffed her hair into a punky style quiff, and applied some bright red lipstick to her pout.

And while her whole appearance was hard to miss, it was her giant engagement ring that stood out, Miley once again making a point of wearing it in the face of rumours that she has split with her fiance Liam Hemsworth.

However, The Hunger Games actor was nowhere to be seen on the red carpet.

It was recently reported that Miley had made one last ditch effort to save her flailing relationship with the actor, which has been rumoured to be suffering since February.

According to a report in InTouch magazine, Miley enlisted the help of a 'spiritual' marriage counsellor to help the pair work out their differences.

Kerry Washington Stops By “Good Morning America”

 Stepping out for some promotional duties, Kerry Washington showed up at ABC Studios in New York City this morning (May 14).

The “Django Unchained” actress was in the house to plug her hit show “Scandal” on Good Morning America along with her amazing cast mates.

When asked if they hang out together away from work, Kerry shared, “If you can imagine, we work these seventeen-hour days sometimes and then we actually get together on the weekends to watch the episode, to go see things, to support each other.”

Costar Jeff Perry added, “Somebody was asking, ‘Is the chemistry good amongst you guys?’ and I replied, ‘Have you ever been to an eleven-year-old girls’ sleepover?!’”

Iron Man 3 star stuns in dress with entirely sheer side panels at film premiere

She was named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman in People magazine on Wednesday.

And on the same day Gwyneth Paltrow showed just why as she put on a sophisticated appearance at the Marvel’s Iron Man 3 Hollywood premiere.

The 40-year-old arrived on the red carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California in a gown which looked demure from a distance.

However on closer look the actress’ Antonio Berardi dress featured mesh panels down the sides, showing off her hips and décolletage area.

 

The material would have made it almost impossible for her to wear underwear beneath the number.

While she could have quite possibly been wearing a strapless bra, briefs would have been too tricky.

 The look of her item of clothing – which created the optical illusion of a curvy white silhouette down the middle – also drew attention to her tiny waist.

With a dark green peplum section that matched her kimono style arm cuffs, the slender thespian - who plays Pepper Potts - looked in great shape.

She is known for taking up often strict healthy eating plans - such as eating only macrobiotic meals at one point - in an effort to stay trim.

She allowed her skin to glow in natural make-up and wore her blonde locks straight and to one side over her shoulder.

It’s no wonder the mother of two children with Coldplay singer Chris Martin - who was nowhere to be seen on the night - was given the prestigious beauty accolade.

She added a fun twist to her appearance with purple nail polish and paired a large drop earring with a contrasting small stud that evening.

The Brazilian beauty was both stylish and hip in the combo as she hit up the shops in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old was without four-year-old daughter Anja and ten-month-old son Noah.

Her businessman fiance Jamie Mazur also stayed at home.

The mother-of-two recently went on a whirlwind publicity blitz for the lingerie brand alongside fellow Angels Candice Swanepoel and Karlie Kloss.

 The swimsuit model trio appeared on Good Morning America, followed by a poolside photo call, a Q&A session, a trip to the set of Extra, and ended with a party in the evening.

Alessandra has had an illustrious career with the famous lingerie stable.

 She was selected as the first spokesmodel for the Victoria's Secret PINK line and in 2005, she walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway wearing lingerie made entirely out of candy.

In the 2008 edition of the Fashion Show, she walked the runway three months after giving birth to her first child.

 The 2011 show saw her wearing the heaviest wings - 30 pounds - ever made for the show and in 2012, Ambrosio was chosen to wear the 'Fantasy Bra.'
